Over the last 26 years, the Symposium's objectives have remained constant: to stimulate pertinent reflexion and a better perception of our times while being mindful of the future. The theme of Baie-Saint-Paul’s International Symposium of Contemporary Art’s 26th edition will be “The Col- lusions” as suggested by Mrs. Geneviève Pelletier, our guest commissioner. Throughout the month of August, thirteen artists will go out and meet the public who will be privileged witnesses of their evolution and their self-questioning.

The entire community of Baie-Saint-Paul's will also join in this new adventure. Galleries and artists of the region will celebrate this event and thereby add their contribution to the dissemination of contemporary art.
